When Google introduced Android 4.1 Jelly Bean in July 2012, it pretty much killed its support for Adobe Flash. Adobe Flash is multimedia and a software platform to create vector graphics, animation, rich content, games, and Internet applications. The Adobe Flash player allows these to be executed, played and viewed. Many think that Adobe Flash requires to too much storage capacity and run the battery life too quickly making it a problem for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. This may have led to Google’s decision not to support Adobe Flash. As you already know, Adobe Flash player is no longer available for iOS devices such as iPhone, iPad, and iPod.
However, recognizing the void, Adobe allows its customers to download Flash player straight from its Web site for mobile devices. Since there is no further support for Flash available from Google, security becomes an issue. Another issue will be stability issue that is created by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean in place of Flash.
But if you still interested in establishing Flash player on a mobile device you need to do the following:
- Need to configure security settings.
- Download Flash from Adobe Web site.
- Install Flash on your device.
- Re-activate security settings.
