In 2007, Ted Dhanik co-launched engage: BDR, a digital advertising and marketing company located in West Hollywood, California. In addition to co-founding the company, he serves as President and Executive Vice President of Business Development. His duties include overseeing a variety of department, including strategic marketing, sales and business development, client relationship management, and content acquisition.
Engage: BDR has made a name for itself for offering unparalleled marketing solutions for top-name brands, with new products or services always on the menu. Engage: BDR currently offers a full-service display network, data sources for targeting, a digital production studio, and video advertising services. One of its latest and most popular products is First Impression, a real-time bidding (RTB) self-serve display platform launched in May 2012.
Dhanik began his career in online media 14 years ago. Over the past 14 years, Dhanik has proven his skills and talents as an innovative marketing specialist with the ability to develop new products and services. His experience and resume has earned him the position as president and CEO of one of the first online media companies to cater to direct response marketers, and clients are lining up to get in on the action. Engage: BDR provides products and services to advertisers and companies of all sizes. Some of the firm’s clients include Google, eHarmony, Playboy, and Fox.
But before he launched his own company, Dhanik was coming up with strategic marketing campaigns at MySpace.com. At MySpace, he brainstormed with the founders of the company to create a unique on- and offline campaign that helped launch MySpace into what it is today. He worked at MySpace for five years and had the privilege of developing many MySpace brands.
In addition to his prominent position at MySpace.com, Dhanik oversaw business development at LowerMyBills.com. Before working for LMB, Dhanik helped launch the consumer lending program at NexTag Corporation.
